Pastor Freddie L. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis, Tennessee. He served his country for 8 years in the U. S. Air-Force during the conflict with Vietnam.
In 1975, after attending William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Pastor Thomas was duly ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. From 1975 to 1981, he served as an associate Elder at Pentecostal Temple church under the late Bishop J. O.. Patterson, Sr.

He was later selected to assist Pastor James O. Rodgers with the establishing of a new church. For approximately 13 years, he worked with Pastor Rodgers before establishing Christ Communion Temple Church where he's currently senior pastor.
In 2009, Pastor Thomas was elected as president of the Association of Independent Holiness Churches. He serves as Chancellor of AIHC School of Biblical Studies. He is married to Ruby N. Tunstall-Thomas and they have two daughters and two sons.
